A good deer farmer knows that to be successful in this
industry you must produce a deer that is in demand.
Therefore, my goal and eventual success in this business,
evolved around a desire to raise the healthiest and highest
scoring deer that fit right in with our environment here in
South Louisiana. A deer that when sold to my customer was
ready to go to work with as little adjustment as necessary
to enhance a breeding program and accord the highest
probability to survive. This deer must represent me well and
be worthy to be highlighted as cornerstones in their
